  The wonderful thing about this store is its owner, Sylvia. She is truly a national treasure. As Canada celebrates its 150th Birthday, I have long been impressed that this story carries Canadian made furniture and clothing. If you see something and it is not in your size, the sales representatives can usually get you want you need in record time. You cannot get that anywhere else but an independent store. The prices are quite fair. Finally, I like hats. This store sells great men's hats.

  My son needed a suit to act as a pallbearer in his grandfather's funeral the next day and had no suit. I sent him to Hudson's and prayed that something presentable could be found. The salesman was "stellar" according to my son and outfitted him entirely in a fantastic suit as well as guiding him on the little extras. Not to mention the rush alterations! I cannot say enough about the service we received. It was exemplary and relieved a lot of stress in an already stressful situation. Thank you Hudson's. We will be back!
